خواهش کردن/ در خواست کردن در انگلیسی

برای مطرح کردن درخواست های در زبان انگلیسی از

Can
Could
Will
Would
Would you mind
Do you mind
استفاده میکنیم

اما توی این پست فقط میخواییم در مورد
Will, Would, Can, Could
صحبت کنیم

Can/ will
معمولا برای درخواست های دوستانه استفاده میشند

Could/would
برای درخواست های مودبانه استفاده میشند

اما چه وقت از
Can/could
استفاده کنیم و
چه موقع از
Will/would

به زبون ساده، وقتی از
Can/could
در جمله پرسشی درخواستی استفاده میکنیم
یعنی داریم از طرفمون سوال میکنیم که
برات امکان داره.... / میتونی

Can you help me with my homework?
میتونی توی تکالیف خونه ام بهم کمک کنی؟

Could you join us on Sunday?
ممکنه روز یکشنبه به ما ملحق بشید؟

اما وقتی از
Will/would
استفاده میکنیم یعنی داریم
از طرفمون سوال میکنیم که
تمایل داری که.../ برات مشکلی نیست اگه

Will you pick Alex up from school for me this afternoon, please?
برات مشکلی نیست اگر امروز بعد از ظهر تو الکس رو از مدرسه بیاری؟

Would you lend me your car this weekend?
مشکلی نیست اگه ماشینتونو برای اخر هفته بهم قرض بدید؟
(تمایل داری ماشینتو برای اخر هفته بهم قرض بدی؟)

پس وقتی از
Can/could
استفاده میکنیم درمورد "توانایی انجام کاری" سوال میکنیم
و وقتی از
Will/ would
استفاده میکنیم در مورد " تمایل به انجام کاری" سوال میکنیم.

زمان های حال

ما توی انگلیسی چهارتا زمان حال داریم:

1. Simple present (حال ساده)
2. Present progressive (حال استمراری)
3. Present perfect (حال کامل)
4. Present perfect progressive (حال کامل استمراری)

1. Simple present (حال ساده)

کاربرد اول: برای صحبت کردن درباره عادت ها و فعالییت های روزانه مون

He smokes two packets of cigarettes a day. (عادت)
روزی دو پاکت سیگار میکشه.

I go to college everyday. (فعالییت روزانه)
هر روز میرم کالج
-------------------------
کاربرد دوم : برای صحبت کردن درباره چیزایی که واقعییت دارند و وضعیت هایی که برای همیشه یا برای یه مدت طولانی ثابتند.

The heart pumps blood through the body. (واقعییت)
قلب خون رو به سرتاسر بدن تلمبه میکنه

I work in London. (وضعییتی که برای همیشه یا مدت طولانی ثابته)
من در لندن کار میکنم
-------------------------
کاربرد اضافی: از این زمان میشه به جای زمان آینده برای صحبت درباره برنامه های ثابت (کارهایی که از قبل برنامه ریزی شدند و طبق جدول زمانی توی آینده انجام میشند) هم استفاده کنیم

Your exam starts at 09.00.
امتحانتو راس ساعت 9 شروع میشه

Our holiday starts on the 26th March.
تعطیلاتمون از 26 مارس شروع میشه
-----------------------------------------------------
2. Present progressive (حال استمراری)
طرز ساخت: am/is/are + verb + ing
verb = فعل

کاربرد اول : برای صحبت درباره یه عملی که توی همین لحظه ای که داریم
درباره اش صحبت میکنیم در حال انجام دادنشیم.

You are reading this material now.
شما دارید الان این مطلبو میخونید.

I'm using the Internet now.
الان توی اینترنتم
--------------------------
کاربرد دوم: برای صحبت درباره یه عملی که مدتیه توی زمان حال داره انجام میشه.

I am trying to forget Jack.
دارم سعی میکنم جک رو فراموش کنم

She's writing a novel this year.
امسال داره یه رمان مینویسه
--------------------------
کاربرد اضافی: از این زمان میشه به جای زمان آینده برای صحبت درباره یه کاری که از قبل برنامه ریزی شده , و به احتمال خیلی قوی توی آینده انجام میشه، استفاده کنیم

We're going on holiday tomorrow.
فردا داریم میریم تعطیلات

Mike is meeting his girlfriend tonight.
قراره مایک امشب دوست دخترشو ببینه

دقیقا مثل فارسی خودمون!! مگه ما نمیگیم امشب دارم میرم مهمونی، فردا داریم میریم مسافرت، هفته دیگه داره واسمون مهمون میاد...؟؟ یعنی از زمان حال استمراری استفاده میکنیم که به آینده اشاره کنیم.
-----------------------------------------------------
3. Present perfect (حال کامل)
طرز ساخت: have/has + p.p
p.p = قسمت سوم فعل

I have lost my book. I can't find it anywhere.

I have seen this movie twice.

She hasn't finished her home work yet.

I have already had 4 cups of tea this morning.

We have been to Kish island many times.

He has already spoken to her.

We have already eaten.

الان متوجه شدید که این زمان چقـــــــــــــــــدر آســـــــــــــــونه

فقط این زمان یه کاربرد اضافه هم توی انگلیسی داره که یه کوچولو با ماضی نقلی ما فرق داره . اونم اینه که از این زمان برای صحبت درباره یه کار و عملی استفاده میکنند که از گذشته شروع شده و تا الان ادامه داره. مثلا من میگم از ده سالگی با فلانی دوستم/ میشناسمش

I have known X since I was 10.

حالا یه نکته بگم که قشنگ متوجه بشید اینکاربردو باید کِی استفاده کنید. ببینید یه سری فعلا هستند که ما نمیتونیم به معنای واقعی عمل انجام شدنشونو به چشم ببینیم مثل :
want, know, need, like, love , understand, hear, hate, dislike, realize, mind, etc.
اگه ما خواستیم توی انگلیسی از این فعلا برای صحبت کردن درباره یه عملی استفاده کنیم که از گذشته شروع شده و تا الان ادامه داره. باید بذاریمشون تو این کاربرد.

We have known each other for 20 years.
بیست ساله که همدیگرو میشناسیم.

I have always wanted to be a doctor.
همیشه دلم میخواسته دکتر باشم.

We have heard a lot about you
درباره تون زیاد شنیدیم.
-----------------------------------------------------
4. Present perfect progressive (حال کامل استمراری)
طرز ساخت: have/has + been + verb + ing
verb = فعل

کاربرد ین زمان هم دقیقا عین کاربرد اضافه زمان بالا (حال کامل) هستش یعنی ازش برای صحبت درباره یه کاری استفاده میکنیم که از گذشته شروع شده و تا الان ادامه داره منتها این زمانو با فعلایی به کار میبریم که عمل انجام شدنشونو میتونیم به معنای واقعی ببینیم.
(اکثر فعل های زمان انگلیسی جز این دسته اند)

I have been teaching English since I graduated.
از زمانی که فارغ التحصیل شدم دارم انگلیسی تدریس میکنم

He has been playing the piano since he was a little boy.
از زمانی که یه پسر کوچولو بوده پیانو میزده

We have been living in New York for 3 years.
سه ساله که داریم توی نیویورک زندگی میکنیم

I have been studying chemistry for 2 hours.
دو ساعته که دارم شیمی میخونم

I have been very busy lately.

all day, all night, all morning, all evening, all week, all month, lately, recently
به کار ببرید.

چندتا اصطلاح ساده

no can do ... غیر ممکنه !
----------------------------------------------

دروغ مصلحت آمیز white lie

اگر نمی خواهی بری بهش یک دروغ مصلحت امیز بگو مثلا مریضی یا یک چیزی شبیه این
If you don`t want to go,tell him a white lie like you are sick or something

See off و see out

See off

See off: بدرقه کردن مسافر
See out: بدرقه کردن مهمون

مثال:We went to the station to see him off
مثال: don’t get up please. I’ll see myself out!

“بلند نشین خواهش می کنم. من خودم میرم

در واقع وقتی استفاده می کنین که بخواین به کسی بگین نمی خواد تا دم در بیاد و به خودش زحمت بده “

* راستی گفتم مشایعت ، بهتره بدونین walk sb هم میشه همون مشایعت کردن یا به عبارتی با کسی تا جایی رفتن ، کسی رو تا جایی همراهی کردن.

مثال: it’s late. I’ll walk you home
” دیر وقته. تا خونه همرات میام”
.
.
شنیدین تو محاوره ی فارسی مثلا کسی می خواد همراه ما بیاد ما هم بهش میگیم: “نمی خواد تو بیای”

استفاده ی این چنینی از “خواستن” فقط تو محاوره رایجه. شما می تونین دقیقا همین منظور رو با معادل خودش یعنی want بیان کنین. نحوه ی استفاده اش هم تو مثال مشخصه.

پس:

Want = should
مثال: you don’t want to come
نمی خواد تو بیای (یا به عبارتی لازم نیست تو بیای)

مثال:

?A: What are you two whispering about
B: you don’t want to know
A: شما دو تا دارین چی پچ پچ می کنین؟
B: نمی خواد تو بدونی (لازم نکرده تو بدونی)

*** Personal Pronouns ***

Personal pronouns represent specific people or things. We use them depending on:

number: singular (eg: I) or plural (eg: we)
person: 1st person (eg: I),
2nd person (eg: you) or
3rd person (eg: he)
gender: male (eg: he), female (eg: she) or neuter (eg: it)
case: subject (eg: we) or object (eg: us)

We use personal pronouns in place of the person or people that we are talking about. My name is Josef but when I am talking about myself I almost always use "I" or "me", not "Josef". When I am talking direct to you, I almost always use "you", not your name. When I am talking about another person, say John, I may start with "John" but then use "he" or "him". And so on.

Here are the personal pronouns, followed by some example sentences:

number ------- person -------- gender ---------- personal pronouns
--------------------------------------------------------- subject object
singular -------- 1st ----------- male/female ----------- I -------- me
------------------ 2nd ---------- male/female ----------- you ------ you
------------------ 3rd ----------- male ------------------- he ------- him
---------------------------------- female ----------------- she ------ her
---------------------------------- neuter ------------------ it -------- it
plural----------- 1st ----------- male/female ----------- we ------ us
------------------ 2nd ---------- male/female ---------- you ------ you
------------------ 3rd ---------- male/female/neuter -- they ----- them

Examples (in each case, the first example shows a subject pronoun, the second an object pronoun):

*I* like coffee.
John helped *me*.

Do *you* like coffee?
John loves *you*.

*He* runs fast.
Did Ram beat *him*?

*She* is clever.
Does Mary know *her*?

*It* doesn't work.
Can the engineer repair *it*?

*We* went home.
Anthony drove *us*

Do *you* need a table for three?
Did John and Mary beat *you* at doubles?

*They* played doubles.
John and Mary beat *them*.

When we are talking about a single thing, we almost always use *it*. However, there are a few exceptions. We may sometimes refer to an animal as *he/him* or *she/her*, especially if the animal is domesticated or a pet. Ships (and some other vessels or vehicles) as well as some countries are often treated as female and referred to as *she/her*. Here are some examples:

This is our dog Rusty. *He's* an Alsatian.
The Titanic was a great ship but *she* sank on her first voyage.
My first car was a Mini and I treated *her* like my wife.
Thailand has now opened *her* border with Cambodia.

For a single person, sometimes we don't know whether to use he or she. There are several solutions to this:

If a teacher needs help, *he* or she should see the principal.
If a teacher needs help, *he* should see the principal.
If a teacher needs help, *they* should see the principal.

We often use it to introduce a remark:

*It* is nice to have a holiday sometimes.
*It* is important to dress well.
*It's* difficult to find a job.
Is *it* normal to see them together?
*It* didn't take long to walk here.

We also often use it to talk about the weather, temperature, time and distance:

*It's* raining.
*It* will probably be hot tomorrow.
*Is* it nine o'clock yet?
*It's* 50 kilometres from here to Paris.

slang

اصطلاح ya mean که slang محسوب میشه ، در واقع کوتاه شده ی عبارت طولانی ................................... ?do you know what I mean

یعنی:

?do you know what I’m talking about
یا “می فهمی چی میگم” ، “متوجه منظورم هستی” ؛ “مگه نه” .

مثال: ?That chick looks off da hook, ya mean

حالا همون جمله به شکل ساده ...... ?that girl looks pretty, isn’t she

بنظر میرسه دختر خیلی جذابیه، مگه نه؟

یا " بنظر که دختر هاتیه! می فهمی که چی میگم؟ "

.............................................................................................

Chick
یه slang بسیار رایجه و به معنی girl

off da hook
معانیه متفاوتی داره، اینجا به معنی very hot یعنی خیلی جذاب اومده

تابلو بودن

“تابلو بودن” تو فارسی مفاهیم و کاربرد های مختلفی داره.
یکی از اصطلاحاتی که به همین موضوع اشاره داره اینه: stick/stand out a mile

It stood out a mile that she was lying

”از دور داد میزد (خیلی تابلو بود) که داشت دروغ می گفت”

گاهی تابلو بودن به این اشاره داره که فهمیدن جواب چیزی خیلی اسونه.
No-brainer برای همین موضوع بکار میره. No-brainer اسمه.

مثال:
B: Who do you think is better-looking, Jennifer Lopez or Jessica Alba?

A: That’s a complete no-brainer! Jessica Alba is much hotter
A: به نظرت کدوم یکی خوشگل تره، جنیفر لوپز یا جسیکا البا؟

B: این که خیلی تابلوئه! جسیکا البا جذاب تره!

*** It's vs Its ***

There is often confusion between....
*** It's and Its ***

It's
It's is short for it is or it has.
It cannot be used for anything else.
If you cannot expand it's to it is or it has, then it is wrong.

Example:
It's time to go.
(It is time to go).
Do you think it's ready?
(Do you think it is ready?)
It's my bedtime.
It's only 11 o'clock.
It's over there.
I read your article - it's very good.
Do you know where my purse is? It's on the table.

It's = It has (not possessive)
It's been a long time.
(It has been a long time.)
It's been brewing awhile
It's been a long time.
It's been raining for a week, and now it's starting to snow.
(It has been raining....it is starting to snow)

Its

Its is the possessive form of "it."
Put a more technical way, its is the possessive form of the neuter pronoun "it" — his, her, its.

Its is like his and her.
His is used for masculine things. (These are his pies.)
Her is used for feminine things. (These are her flowers.)
Its is used for neuter things. (These are its footprints.)

Examples:
Every dog has its day.
The jury has reached its decision.
Stop its momentum!
Guess its color.
That's an interesting device - what is its purpose?
I saw Les Misérables during its initial run.
This stove has its own timer.
The bird lost some of its feathers.
Where is its head office?

A Good Rule of Thumb:
If you can replace it with his or her, there's no apostrophe.

ITS'
Its' is never correct. Ever

Confusing words: speak, talk

*** Speak versus talk ***

Speak and talk have similar meanings but there are differences in the way we use the two words.

Both speak and talk suggest that a person is using his voice, or that two or more people are having a conversation.

We can say:

speak to someone
talk to someone
speak to someone about something
talk to someone about something.

‘Speak’ is more formal

One of the main differences is formality.
Speak is a little more formal than talk, and is often used in polite requests:

Hello, could I speak to David Thompson, please? [formal, on the telephone]
I’ve got a complaint: I want to speak to the manager. [formal, in a restaurant or shop]

Talk is a little less formal and is more common in spoken English:

What on earth are you talking about? = ‘you are not making sense’ or ‘you are not being truthful’.
I was talking to* Tom yesterday. He told me about his new house and job.

* Speak to and talk to are used more often than speak with / talk with

When to use ‘speak’

In some idioms and fixed phrases:

Speak your mind = to say exactly what you are thinking, in a direct way
Come on, speak your mind! We want to know what you’re thinking.
Speak up [often on the telephone]
Could you speak up please? I can’t hear you.
Generally speaking [when generalising]
Speak about / Speak in public [to address an audience, to make a speech]
The professor spoke about fair trade in Asia.

If a noun comes after speak, it must be a language.

We say:

speak English - NOT - talk English
speak Russian - NOT - talk Russian
speak a language - NOT - talk a language.

When to use ‘talk’

In the following examples, only talk is correct:

talk sense
I always listen to him: he talks a lot of sense.

talk nonsense
I agreed with you earlier but now you’re talking nonsense.

talk rubbish
He’s talking rubbish again. Don’t listen to him!

talk business [to discuss business things, to negotiate]
Let’s have some lunch, then we’ll talk business.

! Be careful – sometimes ‘talk’ and ‘speak’ are both wrong:

tell the truth - NOT - speak the truth or talk the truth
tell a lie - NOT - speak a lie or talk a lie
tell a story - NOT - speak a story or talk a story.

*** Greetings ***

Greeting - Basic

There are many ways to greet someone. We'll learn about the most common way to greet someone in this lesson. I'll give a variety of example sentences.

Greeting someone you never met:
"Hi, my name is Steve. It's nice to meet you."
You can respond to this by saying,
"It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Adlane."

Another common question to ask is

"What do you do for a living?"

You can respond to this by saying,

"I work at a restaurant."
"I work at a bank."
"I work in a software company."
"I'm a dentist."

Usually, you will not need to ask for a name. It is implied that each person should say their name. But in case they don't, you can ask,

"What is your name?"

Many times, I don't hear the name. If you would like for them to repeat their name, you can say,

"What was that again?"
"Excuse me?"
"Pardon me?"

" Please " and " Thank you "

we usually say ‘please’ when asking for something,
or as a polite (nice) way of saying yes to an offer:

‘Please can I watch some TV?’
‘Can I please go out to play?’
‘May I please leave the room?’
‘Could I please have some ice-cream.’
‘Would you like some ice-cream?’
‘Oh, yes please!’
‘Do you want something to eat?’
‘Yes, I would please!’
‘Oh please, that would be great!’

The word please can be used to show satisfaction and pleasure.

‘I’m pleased with my new car.’
‘This job pleases me.’
‘Your music gives me pleasure.’
‘I’m very pleased to meet you.’
From those few examples you can see that
‘please’ and ‘pleasure’ are closely related in origin
but are sometimes used in completely different ways.

If something makes you pleased,
you can say that you feel …
uplifted
perked
gladden
overjoyed
over the moon

SAYING THANK YOU

The action of saying ‘thank you’
or as a way of acknowledging an act of kindness.
We say ‘thank you’ to show our appreciation.
By saying ‘thank you’,

You … show your gratitude
You express your appreciation.
You acknowledge the kindness.
You return the generosity verbally.
You offer your sincerest thanks.
You are grateful.

There are many ways to say ‘thank you’ …

‘Thank you.’
‘Thank you very much.’
‘Thanks a lot’
‘Thank you so much.’
‘Thanks a bundle’
‘You are too kind.’
‘Thanks ever such a lot.’

Sometimes we may express surprise and joy,
as well as showing our thanks.

‘Wow! how kind …’
‘Thank you!’
‘That’s good of you …’
‘I don’t know what to say …’
‘Thanks a lot!’
‘I’m overwhelmed …’
‘Thank you so much!’
‘What can I say?’
‘You are the best!’
‘Thank you very much!’
‘This present is so nice!’
‘Oh you shouldn't have.’

Saying ‘thank you is the best way to show your gratitude to another person.
It is a polite thing to do.
To acknowledge someone’s kindness is a nice thing to do.
And don’t forget …
… kindness creates more kindness.

Accept vs Except

These two English words are sometimes confused by native speakers. Please accept my invitation to learn the difference between these two words.

Accept

Accept is a verb that means "to receive, admit, regard as true, say yes."
example:
I can't accept this gift.
He was accepted to Harvard.
Do you accept this theory?
My offer was immediately accepted.
Do you accept my as your future wife?
He asked me to marry him, and I accepted.

The noun acceptance refers to the "act or process of accepting, approval, or agreement."

Except

Except is a preposition that means "excluding."
example:
He bought a gift for everyone except me.
I know everyone here except the children.

Except is also a conjunction that means "if not for the fact that" or "other than."
example:
I would help you, except I'm too busy.
He never calls me except to borrow money.

Except is a fairly uncommon verb that means "to leave out, exclude."
example:
I hate lawyers, present company excepted.
Children are excepted from these rules.

The noun exception means "exclusion" or "one that is excepted."

The Bottom Line:
The confusion between accept and except is due to their somewhat similar spelling and pronunciation. In fact, it's rather strange that
they do get confused, because the meaning of accept and the meaning of except when used as a verb are more or less
opposites.

Differences Between "Go and Get"

Use 'get' to express a point of arrival or a destination.

For example:
I got to work at seven thirty this morning.
It took us three hours to get to San Francisco.

Important Note:
'Get' is often used together with a specific point of time, a duration of time, or a specific destination.

Verb Forms: Get - Got - Gotten (got) - Getting

Use 'go' to express the journey, trip or experience in general.
This includes both the journey to and from the destination.

For example:
We went to Italy on vacation.
How often have you gone to that restaurant?

Important Note:
'Go' is also often used in general to speak about the entire journey, trip or experience, rather than the actual traveling to a location.

Verb Forms: Go - Went - Gone - Going

نقل قول (Reported speech)

هنگاميکه ميخواهيم گفته‌هاي شخص ديگري را نقل کنيم، مي‌توانيم از دو حالت مختلف استفاده کنيم:

1- مي‌توانيم گفته‌هاي شخص مورد نظر را عيناً (واو به واو) تکرار کنيم (نقل قول مستقيم):

  • She said, 'It is raining.'

و يا مي‌توانيم از نقل قول غير مستقيم استفاده کنيم:

  • She said that it was raining.

در مثال زير به تغييرات ايجاد شده خوب دقت کنيد:

1- در نقل قول غير مستقيم هميشه مي‌توانيم that را حذف کنيم:
  • I told her (that) I wasn't hungry.

  • He said (that) he was feeling ill.

2- پس از tell حتماً بايد نام شخص مخاطب (اسم يا ضمير) ذکر شود ولي پس از say چيزي نمي‌آيد:
  • He told her that ...

  • He said that ...

جدول تغييرات از نقل قول مستقيم به غيرمستقيم

در نقل قول غيرمستقيم، فعل اصلي جمله معمولاً زمان گذشته است و نيز افعال موجود در بقيه جمله هم بايد به زمان گذشته تبديل شوند. اين تغييرات به شرح زيرند:

مثال

غير مستقيم

 → مستقيم

'I love you,' he said. → He told her that heloved her.

گذشته ساده

حال ساده →

'I'm talking on the phone,' she said. → She said that she was talking on the phone.

گذشته استمراريحال استمراري →

He said, 'The rain has stopped'. → He said that the rain had stopped.

گذشته کاملحال کامل →

He said, 'I've been reading for 3 hours.' →  He said that he had been reading for 3 hours.

گذشته کامل استمراريحال کامل استمراري →

He said, 'I met him in the theatre.' → He said he had met him in the theatre.

گذشته کاملگذشته ساده →

'I was driving carefully,' he told the police. →He told the police he had been drivingcarefully.

گذشته کامل استمراريگذشته استمراري →

1- اگر در جمله نقل قول مستقيم از گذشته کامل استفاده شده باشد، در جمله نقل قول غيرمستقيم تغييري ايجاد نمي‌شود:

Tom said, 'when I arrived, she had gone.' → Tom said when he had arrived, she had gone.

2- هميشه مجبور نيستيم كه فعل را در جمله نقل قول غيرمستقيم تغيير دهيم. اگر ما چيزي را نقل قول کنيم که همچنان صحيح مي‌باشد، ديگر نيازي به تغيير فعل (از زمان حال به گذشته) نيست. مثلاً:

'He loves ice-cream,' his mother said. → His mother said that heloves (or loved) ice-cream. (he still loves ice-cream)

در مثال بالا پر واضح است که او (he) همچنان به بستني علاقمند است و دليلي ندارد اين علاقمندی تغيير کرده باشد.

افعال کمکي وجهي در نقل قول غيرمستقيم

در نقل قول غيرمستقيم افعال کمکي وجهي may ،can ،will و shall به might، could، would وshould تبديل مي‌شوند. يعني:

نقل قول غيرمستقيم

WOULD, COULD,
MIGHT, SHOULD

نقل قول مستقيم

مثال:

  • 'I will sell my car,' he told me.
He told me that he would sell his car.

  • 'I can help you,' he said.
He said he could help me.

  • 'The teacher may be ill,' he said.
He said that the teacher might be ill.

ولي افعال كمكي used to، ought to و must در جملات نقل قول غيرمستقيم تغييري نمي‌کنند:

  • I told her that I used to smoke twenty a day.

تغييرات لازم ديگر در نقل قول غيرمستقيم

در نقل قول غيرمستقيم علاوه بر تغييراتي که در افعال صورت مي‌گيرد، در بعضي ديگر از اقسام کلمه، از جمله قيدها نيز تغييراتي ايجاد مي‌شود که در جدول زير بعضي از آنها را مي‌بينيد:

Unless

.بكار رود not و if جاي (if clause) اين كلمه ميتواند در جمله هاي شرطي در قسمت شرط

مثلا بجاي اينكه گفته شود، تو موفق نمي شوي اگر كوشش نكني

You won't succeed if you don't try.

ميتوان جملة شرطي به صورت زير نيز بيان كرد.

موفق نمي شوي مگر اينكه كوشش كني.

You won’t succeed unless you try.

.ميتواند وسط دو جمله يا ابتداي جملة اول قرار گيرد if مثل unless البته

Unless you try, you won't succeed.

تذکر:

If not = unless

If = unless not

مثال:

Unless you don’t try, you will succeed = Unless you try, you won't succeed.

حذف IF

را if فعل كمكي وجود داشته باشد ميتوان كلمة (if clause) در جملات فارسي در صورتيكه در قسمت شرط

حذف كرد كه قاعدة آن در سه نوع شرطي ها بدين صورت است.

:بكار رود معني احتمالا مي دهد. مثلا Should در شرطي نوع اول: در صورتي كه -

If I should see him, I will tell him.

:را حذف كرد بدين صورت if را به قبل از فاعل منتقل كرد و Should كه ميتوان در اين حالت

Should I see him, I will tell him.

ميتوان از آن استفاده if بكار رفته باشد براي حذف were در شرطي نوع دوم : در صورتي كه فعل بودن يعني  -

كرد.

If you were here, I would talk to you.

Were you here, I would talk to you.

ميتوان از آن استفاده كرد بدين if وجود دارد كه براي حذف had در شرطي نوع سوم : هميشه فعل كمكي  -

صورت:

if I had gone there, I would have seen him.

Had I gone there, I would have seen him.

مورد استفاده if در شرطي نوع دوم نيز ميتواند بكار رود و بنابراين براي حذف « احتمالا » به معني Should نكته

قرار گيرد.

If I should see him now, I would tell him.

Should I see him now, I would tell him.

« It is time » وقتش است كه

اين عبارت وقتي بكار مي رود كه فاعلي موقع انجام كاري را براي خود يا كس ديگري ترجيح دهد و قاعدة آن

بكار مي to اينست كه اگر گويندة جمله، ترجيح انجام كاري را بر اي خودش مي دهد بعد از اين عبارت مصدر با

برند. بدين صورت است:

it’s time + to مصدر با

it’s time to finish the job. وقتشه كار را تمام كنم

اما اگر گويندة جمله وقت انجام كاري را براي كسي ديگر ترجيح مي دهد بعد از اين تركيب ابتدا فاعل مورد نظر و

فعل را به صورت گذشته ساده مي آوريم. بدين صورت:

it is time + زمان گذشته + فاعل

it’s time you finished the job. وقتشه كه كار را تمام كني

Conditionals جملات شرطي

Conditionals

If Helen has money, she can buy the car.

اگر هلن پولي داشته باشد. او ميتواند ماشين رو بخرد.

.گويند (Possible) چون در اين نوع شرطي امكان انجام كار وجود دارد به آن

2- شرطي نوع دوم: مربوط به زمان حال است.

if +(قسمت جزاء(مصدر ساده+مشتقات) ، قسمت شرط (گذشته ساده

If Helen had money now, she could buy the car.

اگر هلن الان پول داشت مي تونست ماشين را بخرد.

چون در اين نوع شرطي گوينده تصور انجام كاري ر ا در زمان حال مي كند كه تحقق پيدا نمي كند به اين نوع

.گويند (imaginary) شرطي

3- شرطي نوع سوم: مربوط به زمان گذشته است.

if + (have+p.p)قسمت شرط+(have+p.p+قسمت جزاء(مشتقات

If Hellen had had money, she could have bought the book yesterday.

اگر هلن ديروز پول داشت ميتوانست كتاب را بخرد.

چون در اين نوع شرطي گوينده، شرطي را مطرح مي كند كه در گذشته تحقق نيافته و گذشته را نميتوان بازگرداند به اين نوع شرطي غيرممكن يا گذشتة غيرواقعي گويند. (impossible)

تعيين نوع شرطي دوم و سوم

براي تعيين شرطي نوع دوم و سوم يا احتياج به قيد زمان است مثلا:

1 اگر امروز پول داشتم اين كتاب را مي خريدم.

If I had money today, I would buy this book.

2 اگر ديروز پول داشتم اين كتاب را مي خريدم.

If I had money yesterday , I would have bought this car.

اگر قيد زمان در جملة شرطي بكار نرف ته باشد براي تعيين نوع دوم و سوم احتياج به جملة نشانه است بدين

صورت كه اگر جملة نشانه زمان حال باشد شرطي بعد از آن نوع دوم است مثلا:

she doesn't try if she tried , she would succeed.

و اگر جملة نشانه، گذشته باشد شرطي بعد از آن نوع سوم است مثلا:

She didn't try, if she had tried , she would have succeeded.
